Image Based Modeling for systematic Single Surface documentation

crazy eye perspectives supports the research excavation of the well preserved Copper Age settlement Kleiner Anzingerberg, carried out by Dr. Alexandra Krenn-Leeb (University of Vienna), since 2010. Our self-developed and build poles Opterix 2.0 and PhotoMob have been successfully tested at this site in the last years.

In 2012 we already integrated a documentation work flow to systematically use Image Based Modelling techniques for the recording of every single surface excavated. This July we had the third excavation campaign doing systematic SfM/MVS at Kleiner Anzingerberg. So far about 250 models have been recorded and calculated, 90 of them in this summer.
