The National History Museum Vienna and it`s research partners presented recent results about the prehistoric salt mines and the Iron Age burials of Hallstatt from August 23 to 24. Visitors got a look behind the scenes of archaeological work and could learn about  methods used to record the unique cultural heritage in Hallstatt.

crazy eye (T) was invited to showcase it`s technology and services at "Archäologie am Berg 2014". We presented the application of UAVs and Computer Vision as part of the ongoing recording process in the surroundings of Hallstatt. Particularly children were very elated about our quadcopter and enjoyed being there as much as we did. A big thanks goes to NHM Vienna & the Salinen Austria AG, who organized this great event.
